AIO Partners provides a national network of fully qualified Official Veterinarians for Export Health Certification across Great Britain. 7-days a week, wherever you need us.
Full Supply Chain Coverage
We partner with some of the world's largest food retailers and processors. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies who rely on us to keep their export supply chains compliant and moving — week in, week out.
We engage directly and proactively with competent authorities in the UK (APHA), the European Union and the USDA — building the regulatory relationships that protect our clients' ability to export their Products of Animal Origin without interruption.
We go further than most — physically visiting EU Border Control Posts to build positive working relationships with the officials who inspect our clients' consignments. This on-the-ground presence means problems are resolved quickly and goods move smoothly.
AIO Partners Ltd is accredited by UKAS — the sole national accreditation body recognised by the UK Government — as a Type A Inspection Body operating to ISO/IEC 17020:2012. This is the internationally recognised standard for the competence of inspection bodies, and our accreditation is independently assessed and verified by UKAS.
Type A — ISO/IEC 17020:2012
Type A is the most independent classification under ISO/IEC 17020 — it means AIO Partners operates with full impartiality, having no commercial ties to the businesses it inspects. This is the gold standard for third-party inspection bodies and the classification required for the highest levels of regulatory recognition.
Accredited Scope of Activity
Our UKAS schedule confirms accreditation for the issuance of Export Health Certificates and Support Health Attestations for Animal Origin Products and Food, in accordance with our AIO Export Health Attestation and Support Health Attestation Procedures.
EU & UK Legislative Compliance
Our accreditation scope directly references the EU regulations governing export certification — confirming AIO Partners as a compliant third-party body under both EU and UK law for the issuance of Export Health Certificates.
EU Regulations Referenced in Our UKAS Schedule of Accreditation

Uniform practical arrangements for official controls on products of animal origin intended for human consumption — the core regulatory framework for POAO inspection and certification.
Regulation (EU) 2020/2235
Laying down the model official certificates and attestations for entry into the EU and for movements within the EU of consignments of animals and goods — the EHC template regulation.
Regulation (EU) 2017/625

Commission Notice 2022/C 467/02
Commission Notice on the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2017/625 of the European Parliament and of the Council (Official Controls Regulation). AIO Partners is compliant with this Commission Notice by virtue of our ISO/IEC 17020:2012 Type A accreditation — providing the independent, impartial inspection framework required for recognised third-party certification bodies operating within the scope of the Official Controls Regulation.
Commission Notice Compliance — 2022/C 467/02
AIO Partners is compliant with the Commission Notice on the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2017/625 (Official Controls Regulation) — 2022/C 467/02. This Commission Notice sets out how the European Commission expects the Official Controls Regulation to be applied in practice by third-party bodies involved in official certification activities.
Our compliance is underpinned directly by our UKAS accreditation to ISO/IEC 17020:2012 (Type A) — the internationally recognised standard for inspection bodies that the Commission Notice identifies as the appropriate framework for independent, impartial third-party certification. This means our clients can be confident that certificates issued by AIO Partners carry full recognition under EU official controls law.

From a single consignment to complex weekly export programmes, we provide end-to-end certification support across all categories of Products of Animal Origin, fish, dairy and beyond — to the EU and worldwide.
Exporting Products of Animal Origin from Great Britain requires an Export Health Certificate signed by an Official Veterinarian — a process that has become significantly more complex since the UK's departure from the EU. AIO Partners specialises exclusively in this field, giving our clients unmatched expertise and a 100% Border Control Post clearance record.
We certify the full range of POAO including fresh, chilled and frozen meat, poultry, dairy products, eggs and egg products, gelatine, collagen, composite products and animal by-products. Our national OV network means we can be at your site — anywhere in Great Britain — seven days a week.
Destinations we certify for include:
Our clients include Fortune 500 retailers, major meat and dairy processors, top logistics and distribution companies, and businesses making their very first export. Whatever your scale, we provide a tailored, consultative service built around your supply chain.
What sets us apart from other OV providers
Direct engagement with APHA, EU and USDA competent authorities — we maintain proactive relationships with regulatory bodies in the UK, European Union and United States so that when requirements change, our clients are the first to know and the best prepared.
We visit EU Border Control Posts in person — not just UK production sites. Building face-to-face relationships with BCP officials means our clients' consignments are understood, respected and cleared efficiently at the point of entry into the EU.
Trusted by Fortune 500 companies — the largest food businesses in the world choose AIO Partners because our combination of regulatory expertise, technology and on-the-ground presence is unmatched in the UK certification market.

Border clearance & follow-up
We monitor clearance at the Border Control Post. Our 0% rejection record reflects the accuracy and rigour of every certificate we produce.
The Groupage Export Facilitation Scheme (GEFS) was introduced by APHA to support Official Veterinarians in certifying EU Export Health Certificates for groupage consignments — shipments that combine products from multiple suppliers into a single load.
Without GEFS, groupage loads are extremely difficult to certify, as the OV would need to verify the provenance and compliance of every individual product line across multiple suppliers. GEFS establishes an approved framework — with registered operators and audited processes — that makes this feasible and legally compliant.
AIO Partners is a registered GEFS operator. We work with freight forwarders, consolidators and logistics businesses to certify complex groupage loads efficiently, opening the EU market to exporters who would otherwise be unable to consolidate shipments.
Who needs GEFS?
Freight forwarders, consolidators and exporters combining multiple POAO product lines from different approved establishments into a single EU-bound load.
What we provide
GEFS operator registration, full audit trail management, OV attendance, EHC production and TRACES NT submission for every groupage consignment.
⚡ Powered by Ivetted
Largest GEFS Software Provider
AIO Partners uses a bespoke, purpose-built software system developed through our partnership with Ivetted — the largest software provider supporting the Groupage Export Facilitation Scheme in Great Britain. The system is designed specifically for our Official Veterinarians, enabling them to collect, verify and manage all the information required to generate accurate Export Health Certificates for complex groupage consignments.
Bespoke data collection workflows — OVs collect and verify supplier information, establishment approvals, product data and consignment details through a structured digital process, eliminating manual errors and omissions.
Automated EHC generation — once data is collected and verified by the OV, the system generates the Export Health Certificate automatically, populated accurately from the verified data set.
Regularly audited — zero non-compliances — our GEFS software and processes are subject to regular independent audit. To date, no non-compliances have been identified, reflecting the rigour of our system design and our OVs' consistent application of it.
Market-leading scale — Ivetted is the largest software provider supporting GEFS in Great Britain. The system handles more GEFS consignments than any other platform, giving AIO Partners' clients the benefit of a proven, high-volume, continuously developed solution.
"Our GEFS software has been independently audited on multiple occasions. No non-compliances have ever been identified — a testament to the quality of both the system and the vets who use it."
Ivetted is our proprietary technology platform, developed specifically for the Export Health Certification process. It is the engine behind our speed, accuracy and cost-effectiveness — and a capability no other certification provider can offer.
Where a traditional manual certification process for a complex consignment might take 8–10 hours of an OV's time, Ivetted reduces this to 2–3 hours — without any reduction in accuracy. In fact, accuracy improves, because data is extracted and populated automatically rather than typed by hand.
Ivetted handles dual-language certificate production, EU Catch system data entry, disease status screening, cross-document data extraction and more. It is continuously developed in response to regulatory changes and client needs.
Exporting fish and shellfish from Great Britain to the EU involves one of the most documentation-intensive processes in food export. Every consignment requires a Catch Certificate, an Export Health Certificate, a Processing Statement and — where relevant — a Non-Manipulation Document. All of this data must then be entered into the EU's CATCH system.
A typical export documentation pack for a fish consignment runs to 185 pages. Manual data entry into the EU CATCH system from this pack would traditionally take around two hours per shipment. Using Ivetted's automated extraction tools, we complete the same process in 10 minutes.
We work with fish processors, shellfish harvesters, auction houses and logistics companies to ensure every consignment is certified correctly and cleared swiftly at EU Border Control Posts.
Documents we handle for fish & shellfish export:
Breaking into a new export market is one of the most complex regulatory challenges a food business faces. Every country has its own import permit requirements, approved establishment conditions, veterinary attestation formats and document chains. Getting it wrong means consignments rejected at the border — or worse, a suspension of market access.
Our new market development service includes:
Private Attestation
Many importing countries require additional veterinary attestations beyond the standard EHC — declarations about production methods, disease freedom, cold chain integrity or processing standards. Our OVs are qualified to produce these private attestation documents, ensuring your full documentation pack meets every importing country requirement.
Fresh, chilled and frozen beef, lamb, pork, poultry and game. Full EHC coverage for EU and third country destinations including China, USA and Middle East.
Full documentation suite for aquatic products — EHC, Catch Certificates, Processing Statements and EU CATCH system submission. 185-page packs processed in 10 minutes.
Milk and milk products, butter, cheese, yoghurt, eggs and egg products. Certified for EU and third country markets with full knowledge of dairy-specific attestation requirements.
Registered GEFS operator for complex multi-supplier, multi-product EU consignments. We manage the full audit trail and OV signing for consolidated loads.
Gelatine, collagen, rendered fats, Category 3 ABPs, pet food and animal feed. We certify the full range of animal by-product categories, understanding the distinct regulatory requirements for each product type and destination market.
Supply chain mapping, import permit support and export team training for businesses opening new markets — from Australia and Canada to China and beyond.
Real examples of how AIO Partners and the Ivetted platform have transformed export operations for our clients.

Triple ISO certification covering quality management, environmental responsibility and occupational health and safety.
From first export to ongoing operations — we handle new market entry, supply chain mapping, staff training and weekly certification.
We engage directly with APHA, EU competent authorities and the USDA — maintaining the regulatory relationships that keep our clients ahead of every policy change.
We visit EU Border Control Posts in person, building working relationships with officials so our clients' consignments are recognised, understood and cleared without delay.
Our network spans some of the largest food exporters in the world, across every major product category and destination market. That scale gives us something no single-client provider can offer — a living repository of regulatory intelligence, disease status data and logistics insight that we share with every client.
"Because we work with so many exporters across so many products and markets, we see the full picture — and we make sure our clients do too."
Most OV providers certify your consignment and move on. AIO Partners takes a fundamentally different approach. The breadth of our client base — from Fortune 500 retailers to specialist processors, across meat, dairy, fish, poultry and by-products — means we are constantly accumulating regulatory and operational intelligence that has real value for every exporter we work with.
We proactively share this knowledge, helping our clients anticipate challenges before they become crises and plan their export operations with confidence.
Disease outbreaks — African Swine Fever, Avian Influenza, Foot and Mouth Disease — can close export markets overnight, change regionalisation boundaries mid-shipment, or invalidate certificates that were accurate when signed. The consequences for exporters are severe: consignments destroyed, market access suspended, millions in losses.
Our team monitors live disease status maps from the EU, WOAH and national competent authorities continuously. We cross-reference this against our clients' active consignments, supply chains and destination markets — flagging risks before they reach the border.
Real-time monitoring of EU regionalisation maps for ASF, AI and FMD
Proactive client alerts when disease status changes affect their supply chain
Certificate screening against current disease zones — not just the zones at point of signing
Advice on alternative sourcing or routing when disease controls restrict normal supply chains
Export logistics for POAO involves far more than transport. Border Control Post capacity, inspection slot availability, cold chain continuity, documentation deadlines and changing import conditions all create operational risk that can derail even well-planned shipments.
Because we operate across so many supply chains simultaneously, we have visibility of emerging logistics challenges — port congestion, BCP delays, regulatory changes — that individual exporters simply cannot see on their own.
BCP capacity & delays
We monitor Border Control Post throughput and flag capacity issues before they affect your scheduled consignments.
Regulatory change alerts
Import condition changes, new attestation requirements and updated EHC templates — we track these and notify clients ahead of implementation.
Cold chain & transit risk
Guidance on cold chain documentation requirements and transit conditions for temperature-sensitive POAO consignments.
Market access updates
Changes to third country import permits, approved establishment lists and bilateral trade agreements communicated as they happen.
Across our network of exporters, product categories and destination markets, we have built one of the most comprehensive repositories of export health certification knowledge in Great Britain. This includes historical EHC templates, destination country requirement records, disease status histories and documentation audit trails.
When a new client comes to us wanting to export to a market we already serve — or a product category we already certify — we are not starting from scratch. That depth of institutional knowledge translates directly into faster onboarding, fewer errors and greater confidence for our clients.
"The breadth of our network means a challenge one client faces today is knowledge that protects every other client tomorrow."
Every accreditation we hold is independently verified and reflects our commitment to quality, security and responsible business practice.
Whether you're an established exporter looking for a more efficient certification partner, or a business taking its first steps into export — we're here to help.
